Our Requirements

The Maximum number of children catered for at any one time, in our Sessional early year's service, in this facility is 22.

The Adult/Child ratio in this facility during sessional preschool classes is 1 adult to every 11 children, with a minimum of two adults present at all times.

Children must be potty trained before taking their place in the class, but we do understand that some children may need assistance when using the toilet.

Any help the child needs will be given in a sensitive and caring manner and the child’s right to privacy will be considered at all times. We will also do our upmost to meet the requirements of children with special needs.

Even though children may be potty trained, we all accept that accidents can and will happen and all children in this facility will be treated with the utmost respect and dignity in these circumstances.

This being the case, we would ask all parents to bag and label a change of underwear, socks and clothing for their child and bring it in to us on their first day at Lámh Beag.
